Tam Nails & Spa

I have been coming to Tam for 2 years plus now! I see Tam for nails about every two weeks and she has NEVER disappointed me! She is talented and extremely sweet and professional. I drive about 40 minutes one way to see her because no one in my area compares! Her salon is very clean and beautiful. I’ve seen a few others there for my pedicures and every time I leave very happy! Thank you Tam and your team for always giving me a great experience at your salon ! ❤️😊

I was there yesterday and received a $75 “Russian Manicure” my tech did an excellent job however; I was unaware of the escalated prices as I have had this service in the past. When asked why - the manicurist stated I manually filed your nails down. I have natural nails no design, no accent nail, my manicurist was 15 minute late for my scheduled appointment most times she is late. My nails took 3.5 hours- I elected not to get a massage or hot towel because she had another customer waiting for almost 30 minutes. The other manicurist talk about her in their language they make it very uncomfortable for her clients. The owner is arrogant and rude and makes the manicurist state the cost of the service. I believe because this person service takes sooo long they make the customer pay double the cost. Typically my nails are $50 while others pay $38 to have a $25 up charge because of the length of my nails and manually filing them down per her suggestion is Absurd. I will never go back. Also in my opinion if the owner (male) could have his way I do Not believe he would allow African Americans in his shop. I will go back to my African American manicurist. I will never recommend this nail salon - never. If the manicurist leaves I will follow. In my opinion - they’re prostituting her gift. If they want her to charge $75 for a “Russian Manicure” they should add it as a service and let people know it takes 3 hours and pay her for her time and expertise. They way they have clowned her in this shop is unethical- everyone should put on their translator you will be surprised to hear what they’re saying and perhaps find another shop that honors your time and resources - this is not that - Put on your translator and prove me wrong and I’ll gladly pay for your service. They’re condescending and mean / nothing Christian about some of them- it’s shameful. Always use your headset and translator-ALWAYS. Take your hard earned resources somewhere you’re VALUED AND RESPECTED. Just Russian manicure with gel $75.. 🤯 ***Per his response I have been there several times and always pay $50. On my birthday she did an “accent” nail and didn’t charge extra for that. I will go to another salon. Notice he didn’t respond to being disrespectful to this manicurist or charging her customers double the cost.”Racist” is definitely on the table at this salon and don’t forget to use your translator AS SOON AS. Got my nails done yesterday waited an hour for cindy showed Cindy a shirt I wanted to match for a.party told her she can go crazy with a design she said ok put acrylic down which is completely under the nail tip that was cut way to short for what I asked for painted nails black and put 2 stickers on and said done no design I'm not happy and I got charged 80 for that I could have done this at home I will not be returning first time here got referred by a friend and her nails always turn out amazing left in tears also she burned my hand with the hot towel I jumped it was so hot no cuticle oil nothing not a happy customer
